Catch Your First Wave

Learning to surf is about more than just standing up; it’s about understanding the ocean and finding your balance. Jeffrey’s beginner sessions are designed to give you a safe, professional, and exhilarating introduction to the sport.

Whether it’s your very first time touching a board or you’re looking to polish the basics, this 1:1 private session ensures you have undivided attention every step of the way.

Phase 1: The Sand Session (Approx. 20 Minutes)

Before we hit the water, we build your basics steps on the shore. This provides you:

  • Safety First: Understanding currents, ocean awareness, and board positioning.
  • The Anatomy of a “Pop-Up”: A step-by-step breakdown of the movement (how stand up on the board).
  • Dry-Land Practice: We’ll practice the pop-up on the sand until the muscle memory kicks in, ensuring you feel confident before the first wave.

Phase 2: “Al Agua Pato” Into the White Water

Once you understad the technique, we head into the “foam” or white wash. This is the broken part of the wave that provides a steady, powerful push—perfect for beginners to practice balance and timing without the intensity of an unbroken green wave.
